If food manufacturers have the appropriate equipment, they have the option to label their products in house, however, if the product goes into cold storage with a date code already printed, the product has to be up-tempered and dispatched within a precise time frame.

If we receive the product without a label and date code, it can be stored frozen for longer or shorter than initially planned, and when required, can be up-tempered, date coded, labelled and quickly dispatched, providing significantly more flexibility for the product.

This is also a major advantage for seasonal food products, when distribution may change depending on numerous factors, such as weather, incorrect forecasting, and unpredictable demand.
