Magnavale Chesterfield Expands Cold Storage Facility Adding 23,000 Pallet Locations

We are extremely pleased to announce that we have broken ground on the construction of a significant expansion to our Magnavale Chesterfield facility, adding a further 23,000 pallet locations to the existing 40,000 currently on site.

Having now broken ground, we’re making steady progress with the groundwork and the foundations for the new building. The much-needed expansion is on track to meet its expected completion date in late 2024. The expansion will see an additional 23,000 frozen pallet positions added to our already large and expanding network. The additional pallet space will allow our current customers to increase their volumes as well as welcoming new customers who wish to utilise our frozen storage facility and value added services.

The facilities’ positioning, close to major motorway routes, and the vast selection of essential on-site services, such as blast freezing and tempering, makes Magnavale Chesterfield one of the most sought-after facilities for food manufacturers and distributors across the UK.
