Magnavale are delighted to share that our Chesterfield site has won the Sustainable Cold Store of the Year 2025 award, granted by the Cold Chain Federation.

Winning this award marks an incredible achievement for the business, as it proves that our considerable efforts to be highly sustainable have been successful.
These efforts include:
– A complete refit of the refrigeration plant.
– A large (25,000 pallet) extension to the existing facilities.
– Completely re-gassing Magnavale Chesterfield with low global warming potential (GWP) ammonia refrigerant.
– Delivering a significant reduction in energy consumption and moving the business closer to our goal of being a NET ZERO business.
