Magnavale Warrington Expansion Complete

During early 2021 we announced we obtained both planning and funding to construct an expansion at our cold storage facility in Warrington. After a year of development and construction, we are proud to announce the expansion project is complete!

The expansion of over 8,000 pallet positions brings the total pallet capacity of the entire Warrington facility to over 35,000 pallets, which is a significant portion of the overall Magnavale network.

The positioning of the frozen storage facility is in an area of high demand for our cold storage and related services, such as blast freezing and export related services. The much-needed increase in capacity not only allows our current customers to increase their current volumes but also welcomes the possibility for us to take on board new customers requiring cold storage and added value services, such as blast freezing.

The total capacity in the new expansion has already been allocated to fulfil orders for current customers, further strengthening the resilience of our partner’s supply chains as we enter the busiest period of the year.
