Magnavale Proud to Support Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

At Magnavale, we believe that being part of a community means more than just doing business within it. That is why we are proud to continue our support for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, a truly remarkable charity providing 24/7 end-of-life and palliative care to babies, children, and young people across our region.

About Bluebell Wood

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and support to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as their families from across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and parts of North Lincolnshire.

The Difference It Makes

For families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, the challenges they face can be overwhelming; emotionally, physically, and practically. Bluebell Wood exists to help with that burden, offering a range of specialist services designed to support the whole family, not just the child in their care.

Music therapy sessions give children and families a way to express emotions that can be difficult to put into words, offering moments of joy and connection even in the hardest of circumstances. Short breaks provide vital respite for parents and siblings, allowing families to recharge while knowing their child is in expert, loving hands. If the time comes, the Bluebell Wood also offers bereavement support for the families that need it.

Our Commitment

Amanda Cogan, COO at Magnavale, said: “We feel genuinely privileged to support a charity like Bluebell Wood. The care and compassion they show to children and families at the most difficult times of their lives is humbling.

At Magnavale, we are committed to being a positive force within the communities we work in and serve, and supporting causes like this one is a reflection of that. We hope our contribution helps make a difference to families who need it most.”
