American Export Approval: What is USDA approval?
One of our core services at Magnavale involves storing ambient, chilled and frozen food products destined for export and we are one of the very few cold storage facilities in the UK with an export license for the USA.
What is a USDA-Approved Cold Store?
A USDA approved cold storage refers to a cold storage facility that has obtained certification or approval from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This certification indicates that the facility meets the standards and guidelines set by the USDA for the handling and storage of food products. Having this approval in place allows our cold storage warehouses to store food products that are destined for the USA.
Export Approval to USA – Cold Storage Locations
We have export approvals to the USA currently at two strategically located cold storage facilities based in Scunthorpe and Chesterfield. These facilities feature a range of export related services including blast freezing and container loading/unloading and container stuffing/de-stuffing.
